I recently published an article entitled Eat like a KING early, PRINCE for lunch and PAUPER later. Since then, I have received over two hundred emails about this article. A few came from people who were angry because I would make such a claim. Some were sarcastic, and uttered a few words of frustration. Most of the people were inquisitive. Their main question was, “How is it possible to have a dessert for dinner, and still lose weight?”
Well, let me tell you, point blank – IT IS VERY POSSIBLE! I have the infographics below to prove it.
I can understand someone being angry or sarcastic. After all, trying to lose weight and not succeeding is a very frustrating experience.

Remember, I lost 75 pounds in three months. I’m not bragging about what I did. I’m more concerned with showing you everything I know, and helping you do the same as I did. I’m not into myself. I’m more into you. I want you to do the same thing I did, and I won’t rest until you do it.
During those three months, I did have desserts for dinner. But it’s perfectly understandable why people may want to question this. This seems a little out of the ordinary. But it’s not.
This theory may seem a little off the wall. But it works. It worked for me, and it will work for you. I’m going to show you how and why.
Have your dessert and still lose weight
This will bring a whole new meaning to the expression, Have your cake and eat it too. But the fact remains, you can still have the dessert you love so much, for dinner, and not have to worry about whether or not you will lose weight. Do what I keep telling you, and you will lose weight.
You could always have your dinner at 6:00 PM, and have your dessert later. If you do this, your chances of losing weight are almost thrown out the window. If you consistently have your dessert right before bedtime, you’ll never lose weight.
When I lost 75 pounds in 3 months, I concentrated mostly on a balanced diet. A balanced diet simply means, you have to eat the foods your body needs, but still eat some of the foods you enjoy. But you have to eat them at the right times.
You eat your breakfast, you eat your lunch, you eat your dinner and BAM! You are finished eating for the day. Your body will adjust to this new habit. You’ll look forward to your meals, which will make your food much more enjoyable. Your system will automatically tell you that it does not want to eat at the times when you are, suddenly, not used to eating.
This is why having a dessert for dinner will not hurt you

There is time between each meal. This is very valuable time. This time is also very important. Something good is happening here.
The body is working off the food you ate during your last meal. It’s burning the fat. Of course, this is assuming that you are somewhat active. I don’t mean doing strenuous activities. Normal walking and other movements are considered being active.
On the other hand, if you lie around all day, until your next meal, the time will not be to your benefit as much. But, realistically speaking, who spends all their time just lying around? This is not normal, and I’d be very surprised if you do this.
Let’s concentrate on dinner, the last meal of the day. In the image. I have included a picture of a dessert to signify that you can have a dessert with your dinner, as part of your dinner.
Now, it’s time to unravel the mystery. Ordinarily, I would say that I’m going out on a limb. But I can accurately say that this is not the case. I want to remind you again that I lost 75 pounds in 3 months, while having a dessert every night during dinner. I’m not kidding. I’m dead serious about what I’m telling you. This is what I did, and IT WORKED FOR ME.
As you can see, you have about 5 or 6 hours to burn off what you ate for dinner. That’s plenty of time to work off anything you ate. Whether you choose to have a dessert for dinner, or choose not to, makes not one bit of difference. Even if you have a second dessert, it does not matter. While losing weight, I had seconds many times. Whichever choice you make, you’ll still weigh the same the next day.
The key to eating what you want for dinner
Here’s the clincher. Remember this statement: When you finish eating dinner, you’re done eating for the day. Memorize this. Post it to your bathroom mirror so you can see it every morning. Set it on your desktop background as wallpaper.
Memorize this, but more important, put it into practice. If you don’t, you’re flirting with failure. Losing weight will only be a dream you once had, as the following infographic will show you.
In this image, I have included no dessert with your dinner. This means, Have your dessert with your dinner, or don’t have it at all.
This also means, Have your dessert before bedtime, and it will all turn into fat.
Also remember that your body burns fat while you sleep. But if you see the previous article, you’ll notice that Bob stated that the body must be completely relaxed before bed time, in order to burn the fat effectively. Having a chocolate cake covered with cherries before bed time will not put your body in a relaxed state. In this case, burning fat during sleep will be difficult, if not impossible.
Remember, if you have your dessert with your dinner, you’ve had several hours to work it off. When you’re ready for sleep, your body is ready to burn off fat.
Eat more early in the day and less later in the day
I remember one particular email I received from someone who said that having a dessert for dinner is not exactly eating like a pauper. Eat like a KING early, PRINCE for lunch and PAUPER later, is merely a symbol. If you feel you have to eat a lot, it’s better to do so as early in the day as possible.
It also means, if you feel the need to stuff yourself, don’t do it during dinner. The earlier in the day you eat, the longer time you have to burn it off.
