Hello, my name is Chester Marbrite. I have one love – WEIGHT LOSS.
For the last 28 years of my life, I have been researching Weight Loss and Losing Weight. In my research, I have uncovered hundreds of weight loss tips and different ways to Lose Weight. Throughout the years, I have shared much of my information with various friends, relatives and contacts. Naturally, these have been people who feel the need to lose weight. Well, to make a long story short, none of the people with whom I have come into contact, professionally, have said they were mad at me. Therefore, I must have told them the right things. I know they were the right things, because what I shared with them has also worked for me.
About 28 years ago, I was attending graduate school in Indiana. At the time, I weighed about 230 pounds. I am only 5 feet 6 inches tall. For a short guy, that was just too much weight to carry around. Besides, I looked terrible. In spite of this, I just decided to put it off, thinking that the problem would eventually take care of itself. Well, I know now, just as I knew then that the problem with being over weight will NOT just take care of itself. One day, the problem just hit me. I decided that I needed to lose weight. I don’t know what actually inspired me to do it. I just decided to do it, and I DID IT.
During the Christmas Season of that year, I was at home celebrating the Holidays with my family in Birmingham, Alabama. I knew that I was going to go back to Indiana after the Holidays for my final semester of graduate school. I just kept telling myself, “When I get back to school, I am going to do it!” Naturally, I was not about to begin during the Holiday Season, but once the season was over, I was determined to get down to business.
I arrived back to school in Indiana on a cold January afternoon. I remember the day I began my mission to lose weight like it was yesterday. I did not just jump into this adventure. I spent the next 10 days after arriving at school to plan out how I was going to do it. All I really wanted to do was lose weight, and hopefully look better. What I realize now is something I did not realize on this chili day in January. I was about to go on a journey that would have a positive effect on me for the rest of my life. During the 10 days before I began my mission, I did as much research as possible on weight loss. I did a lot of reading and research in the library, both on and off campus. Much of my research was in interacting with other people. If you are in graduate school, you are in daily contact with some highly intelligent people.
Well, I guess you can say, the rest is history. Like I said above, I weighed 230 pounds in January. When I finished graduate school in May of that year, I weighed 155 pounds. I was amazed about the weight I lost. However, what I was more amazed about was the valuable information that I was able to get, in such a short amount of time. I decided then that I had to continue this research.
I was totally amazed about losing so much weight in so little time. I was more amazed about how I did it, and the valuable information I learned. It was during the Winter and Spring of this year when I developed my passion for Weight Loss and Losing Weight.
Being Overweight is a Problem
People are always looking for ways to better themselves. People want to look better, feel better, be happy, make more money, have a perfect relationship, etc. For some reason, Losing Weight and Weight Loss seems to be the number one problem facing people in all areas of life. Weight Loss is a problem that just about everyone has faced, at one time or another. Even people who you would think do not need to lose weight feel they have a weight problem. I have known both men and women built like models, who believed they had a weight problem. On the other hand, there are many people who actually have a weight problem. In these cases, it is obvious. Therefore, Weight Loss has to be the biggest issue facing human beings today. It has always been that way, and I see no reason to believe that this will change.
My Mission Today
I created OpenWeightLoss with one thing, and one thing only in mind. I want to help everybody who feels the need to lose weight, in the easiest and simplest way possible.
I am not publishing this article, and I will not be publishing future articles to show anyone how much knowledge I have collected over the years. I don’t want to make people believe that I am smart. I am just an average guy, who has a passion – Losing Weight.
If you are reading this now, you obviously have some sort of a weight problem. You could probably care less about how much knowledge someone has about Weight Loss. And I don’t blame you one bit. If someone has knowledge, why should you care, unless it helps you?
This is My Mission – To Share What I Have Learned to Help You.
Throughout this website, I am going to make everything I have learned over the last 20 years about weight loss available to you. What I will be making available to you is not just a bunch of bull. Everything you learn from me will be something that has been done, tested, and has achieved positive and successful results. If there is something that has not worked for me or some of my contacts before, I will not be sharing it with you.
All of the information you learn from this website will be presented in easy-to-read material. I plan to present everything I make available to you on an eighth grade level. This is not Corporate America. Many of the Big Time Weight Loss Companies may tell you how to Lose Weight, after which, you may be completely confused. But you must understand that these big companies have marketing firms that tell them what to say to the people who need their help. I am not a big marketing firm. I am not Corporate America. I am just a guy who has a love for Weight Loss, who has gathered a lot of knowledge on Weight Loss over the last 20 years, and finally, who wants to make it available to you so you can be a much healthier and happier person. THAT’s MY MISSION.
Before closing, I want to share with you how we came up with the name for this website, OpenWeightLoss.com. OPEN is the same thing as HONESTY. “Open and Honest Weight Loss Based on Actual Proven Results” is what we’re all about. If I say something in an article, you can rest assured that it is accurate. Everything I enter in my blog posts will be something that has been tried, tested and proven. IN ADDITION, we would love to know what you have to say. We welcome comments and suggestions. There is no such thing as too many comments.
I mean everything I have said here. I intend to make everything I know about Weight Loss available to you. This website will be updated very often, which is probably every day. Again, what you will see here will be something that has worked. There are over 500 things that can be done that will make a huge effect on Weight Loss. I intend to make every one of them available to you.
